Help your students develop healthy habits at home with a monthly contest! Print & distribute the calendars, students do as many of the challenges as they can each week, and at the end of the month, they return their sheets to you. Tally up the total number of challenges completed by each class for the month and have a winning class for each grade level or even the whole school! You can print the certificates (included) for the winning classes to give to their teacher or put on display in the gym to recoginze their achievements throughout the year.
Week 1 - Focus on Fitness - an exercise-based challenge incorporating various bodyweight exercises or yoga poses.
Week 2 - Focus on Family - challenges include various chores/jobs around the house as well as full family activities.
Week 3 - Focus on Food - nutrition is important, so students will be challenged with healthy eating activity choices.
Week 4 - Focus on Fun - fun looks different for everyone. Students will select from various activities to do for fun in week four.
